Paul J. White is the founding Senior Partner in the accounting and litigation services firm of White, Zuckerman, Warsavsky, Luna, Wolf & Hunt, LLP. He originally formed the firm in 1962 providing a full range of accounting services. He has provided litigation support services and has served as an expert witness since 1969. Mr. White analyzes accounting, financial, valuation and tax aspects of marital dissolutions, partnership/corporation dissolutions, patent infringements, criminal fraud, malpractice, and investigating casualty losses and jewelry insurance block claims for both insurance companies and the insured. He has testified as an expert witness before the Superior Court in the state of California in hundreds of cases. For the past 17 years, Mr. White has been the managing partner of White, Zuckerman, Warsavsky, Luna, Wolf & Hunt, LLP.
In addition to his experience practicing as a forensic accountant and a CPA, Mr. White has extensive experience in assisting in the start-up and management of numerous businesses. He served as CEO or CFO at a number of those businesses. Mr. White has sat on the board of directors for many corporations and has been a general partner in a construction company that developed and operated apartment buildings and a general partner for another partnership that did condo conversions.
Mr. White has taught a course in Forensic Accounting at California State University Northridge and has instructed continuing education courses in litigation services for the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, University of Southern California, California State University, Los Angeles, and California State University, Northridge. He has addressed the California Trial Lawyers Association Convention, Ventura Bar Convention, numerous family law study groups, and American Academy of Matrimonial Attorneys. He obtained a BS in Business Administration from California State University, Los Angeles in 1956.
Mr. White obtained his CPA license in 1962, is a CVA (Certified Valuation Analyst) and holds the AICPA’s ABV designation (Accredited in Business Valuation). He is a 40 Year Honorary Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a 40 Year Honorary Member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, Associate Member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association, a member of the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the Los Angeles Bar Association and is a candidate to become an Accredited Senior Appraiser. He has been an active member of family law study groups since 1985 and is currently active in three monthly MCLE study groups sponsored by White, Zuckerman, Warsavsky, Luna, Wolf & Hunt, LLP. Mr. White received a Commendation from the San Fernando Valley Business Journal for his outstanding business achievements and the Distinguished Alumni Award from California State University, Los Angeles College of Business and Economics.
