Family Law Study Group
Meetings
As a State Bar of California
approved MCLE provider, White, Zuckerman, Warsavsky,
Luna, Wolf & Hunt is dedicated to providing
quality education to family law attorneys. Since 1999,
we have been hosting Family Law study groups throughout
Southern California varying in size from 15 to 40 members.
These meetings are held at various locations on a monthly
basis. We begin with dinner at 6:00p.m. and follow with
a one-hour presentation by various speakers on relevant
issues. Attending attorneys earn one hour of MCLE credit.
There is no charge for the presentation or dinner.Some
recently covered subjects include:
- Legal Ethics for Attorneys
- Substance Abuse in the Workplace
- Effectively Representing Clients in Mediation
- QDRO's
- Overview of Forensic Accounting
Additionally, we regularly invite judicial
officers to be our guest speakers. Speakers have included
Judge Richard Denner, Judge Roy Paul, Judge Aviva Bobb, Commissioner
Thomas Schulte, Commissioner Robert Schnider and Judge Lee
Edmon. The groups meet on the following days:
